update

hi everyone! been a very loooooonng time since i last updated. though, mind you, a lot of events has happened that i can be sure of. (^_^) the pictures are all stacking up in my laptop. unfortunately, i do not have the internet connection to upload them all. maybe i'll pust a post and a link for all my pics since i last updated. (^_^) anyways, right now i am using the desktop of my dad. let me remember what i have been doing since my last update... hmmm.

well... it's been a year since i offcially became a member of Singles for Christ. (^_^) me and my batchmates sponsored the food for our Christian Life program. it was our way of giving forward or giving back, however way you look at it. i would say a lot has changed since last year and i hope the change still continues for the better. (^_^)

i have attended a wedding for a cute couple who are also our fellow SFC members. we were the ones who sang for the wedding. i would admit that it was a bit of a disaster but we were all just very happy for them. (^_^) we will be singing in another wedding this monday for another couple from SFC. i hope our singing is better this time around. (^_~)

a bunch of us also performed at the Saterdotal anniversary of our parish priest. aiza and i were the ones who chose the music. bjoy and i did the choreography and i also did the editing for the songs. it was fun but there were a few misunderstandings and bad blood bad the way. thankfully, we were able to overcome this and we were all in good terms after the performance. (^_^)

oh! i went to hong kong last weekend with my officemates. it was an all-expense paid trip by our boss. we went to disneyland and had dinner at the Peak. it was my first time to go to hong kong so i was very excited. i had fun but i wish i had more time to walk around though. (^_^) as i said earlier, pictures will be uploaded as soon as i have enough time and the right internet connection. sorry! m(_ _)m

oh by the way, the first few things i looked for when i was in hk? FANTA! hahahaha! and yes, i did find it. unfortunately, i could not bring it here in the philippines because it was not allowed on the plane. (^_^)

christmas is just around the corner. (^_^) been taking pictures of "christmassy" thingies these past weeks. i hope i get the chance to post them in the near future. and i mean NEAR! (^_^)

i'm very sure i'm missing other details of what i have been doing recently but i really hope i could share them here. (^_^)

Don Quixote: Ballet

yesterday, i watched Don Quixote by the Ballet Philippines with rei and our father.

in terms of dance, the ballet dancers were very good in their form and execution.

a little mistakes but that is understandable.

though i felt that the flow of the story and the plot seemed lacking.

Don Quixote de la Mancha, a novel by Miguel de Cervantes.

seemed to be better portrayed in a play than in a ballet.

this was approved by fuji-senpai and my father.

to further explain to me that the play is better than the ballet,

my father showed me a movie based from a stageplay of the said piece.

after watching, i now look forward to watching the a stageplay of Don Quixote.

hopefully it would be up to my expectations.

4 hours

this was the average number of hours i stayed with my friends since yesterday. (^_^)

last night, i went out with my "seigaku" friends to celebrate the birthday of our taka-san. (^_^)

i was with them from 7:30pm till 11:45pm. we ate at Kenny Rogers/ Seattle's Best (two different brands, one owner, one venue). this was supposed to be a birthday surprise for the celebrant but there was no specific plan so is was just go with the flow. (^_^) we talked about our work and other things/ events happening in our lives. in a way, it was a "catch-up" session. (^_^) as we were about to leave, i bought Almond Mocha Latte, which i greatly recommend. (=^_^=) then again, i love it because of its sweetness and thickness. (^_^) but if you don't have a sweet tooth, i don't think you'd enjoy it though. (^_^)

today, i went to a gathering of my high school friends, 12:30pm to 4:30pm . (^_^) i was really excited to see them. there were only a few of us though but it was alright. we had fun!! especially with the Guitar Hero (^_^) i'm a begginer and i know i will really make mistakes but i'm thankful that i never had the feeling of disappointment when i was making mistakes. i just had fun. (^_^) i guess it also helped that my friends were understanding and were simply enjoying the game as well. thanks guys, thanks ScarMid. (^_^)

after my ScarMid bonding, kin-chan and i went to fuji-senpai's house (^_^) kei arrived an hour or two after we arrived. we were there approximately 5pm till 9:15pm. fuji-senpai just got back from New Jersey a few days ago (^_^) she invited us over because we practically missed each other. (^_^) the usual LOLness, fangirling and "sabawness" of course. (>_<) the addition would be the "giving of souvenirs" or "pasalubongs" from fuji-senpai, which most come from their basement in New Jersey. (>_<) we also had dinner at her place, spaghetti with senpai's own recipe for the spaghetti sauce. (^_^)

i just realized all this as i was walking on my way home from senpai's house. (^_^)

vacation, spring, fishies and work

yes! i am still alive! (^_^)

my last entry was before i went to the province and since then, i have not blogged. anyways! here i am! still alive and surviving! (^_^)

i could not say much about my two day "vacation" at the province because i seriously bummed around. XD

well, the highlight of my vacation was when i went for a swim on a natural spring on the mountains. it was very very very very cold!!!! (○^_^○) here are the pics. (^_^) the rest of my stay, i slept late watching NCIS, Criminal Minds and Bones, and again bummed around but hey, it was relaxing for me (^_^)

i almost forgot! have you all heard of a natural spa? well, i experienced it. XD the small black thingies you see it the picture are actually small fishies eating the dead skin of my foot. end results? your foot gets cleaned and a callous foot would feel smoother. cool right? (^_^)

after my two day vacation was the week long busy work! despite the difficulties i am experiencing at work, i still feel that i am moving forward in life. i guess, i have to start somewhere right? hopefully, the experience would help me in the future. but at present, i really admit that i am having difficulty in terms of keeping up with the expectations of my superiors. then again, i only have two months more with them so what would be the use of moping about it right? (^_^) at least there is still a future waiting for me right? its not like i'll live forever within the mistakes and troubles of a single day right? (^_^) i guess its all a matter of "perception and disposition"?

on a lighter note (^_^) we bought a seigaku set! and i wore the shirt, jacket and the wristband at work. add to that... i bought Royal Tru Grape, our version of Fanta (Ponta?) XD

tiring week

this week has definitely been very tiring and stressful for me. proof? my Vertigo is back (T-T) from the moment i woke up last monday until tonight, i have been dizzy, light-headed, losing my balance, feeling nauseous and having poor vision. it does not help that there were three major meetings this week and a two day seminar wherein i had to assist. i am very very thankful that i was able to accomplish most of my tasks this week but the vertigo did not exactly make it easy.

anyways, yesterday, i bought Royal Tru-Grape ease my nerves. for those who do not know yet, RTG is the Philippine version of Fanta.

this is the only soda that i drink (with an exception to Sprite because i ONLY drink it with Vodka). i sooooo miss this drink but i decided to drink it only once a week. i'm still searching for Fanta, but i think it's already "face-out" so sad... just when i finally found a place near my house where i can buy it from. (u_u) that's all for now minna-san.

oh, i forgot i'm supposed to have an online conference tonight. (-_-) i'm so tired that i forgot about it... (u_u)

JOB!

yes! i officially have a job! (#^_^#)

i did very well during my interview and i am very proud of myself. (^_^)

the only problem was my availability.

i would be available for work on the 16th of june but the company needed immediate hiring, work as soon as possible.

that company asked me to think about working earlier than june 16, i said i will think about it.

those who interviewed me was also considering if they can wait until the 16th of june, they said they will talk to their superiors about it.

after a few hours, i got a call from them saying that my application was accepted and that the company was willing to hire me on the 16th of june.

i was very amazed!

i thought that since june 16 was too late for them, they would just look for other applicants but i was wrong and i would say that i am very proud of myself. (^w^)

i will do my best in work! (○^_^○)

despite what i said before (previous blog), i realized i want to work for the experience.

well, maybe also for the money, but the pay is not that high.

what would i lose if i try right?

i mean, i will only turn 20 years old next week, i'm still young, one year working experience won't hurt right? (~_~)

i was looking for Fanta but it seems that they do not sell in anymore, then this caught my attention.

maybe i should try it some time?

my 100th post

my 100th post! (*^。^*)

yesterday, mama and i accompanied aylin to POEA to apply for a passport.

i also got my passport. (*^。^*)

we then passed by Robinson's Galleria and ate ice cream from McDo and we also passed by a petshop with CUTE pets waiting to be bought! (*^。^*)

come afternoon, i prepared my things for going to fuji-senpai's event and for our slumber party.

i helped finalize some things at the event of senpai.

the event got delayed because of the sudden change in arrangements due to the drizzle but the event went well.

we also danced after all the bands have played. (*^。^*)

we each had one shot of whatever hard drink mix was offered (#^.^#)

at the end of the night, i felt so bad about the one shot and i ended forgetting almost an hour before i went to sleep last night. (笑)

by the way, i received my graduation/birthday gift from fuji-senpai.

a Fanta cellphone chain. (*^。^*)

i slept over at fuji-senpai's house.

i actually don't remember what senpai and i talked about before we had our slumber (笑)

but i do remember

♠feeling bad about the one shot drink from the event

♠eating a sandwich prepared by senpai's mom and tita

♠me taking a bath

♠brushing my teeth along with senpai

♠the senpai almost going to sleep with her glasses on

♠sleeping at around 4:30am

♠scouting for my phone in darkness around 5am because it started to alarm.

other details after senpai's event, i do not remember anymore. (笑)

i woke up around 10am and i waited for senpai to wake up around 11am.

we did not have breakfast anymore, we went straight to lunch.

we then spent our afternoon watching videos of Masataka Nakagauchi and Rikkai.

my dad was also texting me weird one word questions and i was confused whether he was just making fun of me or he wanted me to go home asap.

in the end, my dad was only making fun of me. (笑)

we had another photo session before i went home around 5pm.

oh! the senpai gave me a candy cane! (*^。^*)

2 party, gifts and the Bar

yesterday, i went to Lee's place for the annual ScarMid Christmas Party!!!

there were quite a lot of us. ^_^

they played Guitar Hero, we talked, ate and YES!

drank The Bar with Sprite. o^_^o

looked and tasted like water with a twist. xp

did not get drunk. ^_^

we also watched videos of Namie Amuro. ^_^

i came home around 11:30pm...

today, i went to the christmas party of my college friends. ^_^

i went to fuji-senpai's place before going to momo-senpai's house.

we bought pizza on our way to momo-senpai's house.

when we arrived, everybody was there. ^_^

we ate, sang karaoke, played Pinoy Henyo, took lots of pictures and YES!!

we drank The Bar with RC. o^_^o

i admit that the mix was stronger than yesterday's mix.

i did get tipsy but i had my ways of "fixing" myself.

(that sounds wrong. xp)

i borrowed kaido-senpai's camera most of the time xp

i passed by fuji-sepai's house before her mother brought me home around 12mn o^_^o

i got gifts from both my HS and College friends. o^_^o

did i mention i "tortured" fuji-senpai with my message tone? o^_^o

bill

i paid the electric bill today. ^_^

first time actually.

but it was an adventure. ^_^

first of all,

i forgot the bill itself but the money was with me. xp

i realized this,

i was already infront of the Meralco building (where i pay the electric bill). xp

so i had to go back home to get the bill. xp

on the way home,

i bought Fanta Grape and cake for merienda. ^_^

i did not have any academics to do in the afternoon so i decided to roam around. ^_^

i first walked from Miriam College to National Bookstore Katipunan.

i saw dvds of Speed Racer!!!

YES! i am a fan of Speed Racer (animation not the movie).

there were i think six or seven dvds each with a different story. ^_^

i then bought 2 vcds for 155pesos.

Casanova is a movie i have been wanting to watch since second year college. xp

while The Emperor's Club, i bought it because it was Buy 1 Take 1. xp

i then took the jeep and went to Araneta Center Cubao.

i found out that a French Baker will be opening on the skybridge between Alimall and SM Cubao.

i love eating in French Baker!

a bit expensive but i still like it. ^_^

i then went to the toys section of SM Cubao and i found this cute stuffed Panda!!! ^_^

i was actually looking for a stuffed white tiger but they were already out of stock. :(

but the stuffed Panda is also cute. ^_^

lastly, i went to the supermarket of SM Cubao.

while exploring the place (this was my first time to enter the new supermarket section),

i was soooooooo surprised to see....

not only was i surprised that i saw Fanta Orange ang Grape,

i was also surprised that there was Fanta Strawberry!!!

now i know that i can buy my Fanta here in Cubao rather than going all the way to SM Fairview. xp

someone left the mighty bond on a table and let the contents flow out. my sister put a cotton and an unopened tablet of decolgen. i can't remove it anymore but i'm not mad. i'm actually amused. ^_^

Grape flavored Fanta

i just heard from a friend (Marga Abuel) that Grape-flavored Fanta is available in SM Fairview. :)

i will go there sometime this month to check it. :)
