company outing

last weekend, we had our company summer outing at the subic bay yatch club. the ride from the office to the venue seemed longer than the way back. (^_^) anyways, the room was superb. made me feel like keigo atobe. the beds were huge, the bathroom was huge! we had a walk in closet, sink area, powder area, toilet area, shower area and... hold it... a jacuzzi! yes! you heard it right! we had a jacuzzi! i didn't use it till our second night though.

anyways, upon arrival, we checked in our rooms and we had a rest. we then had karaoke at the bar, had dinner and went for a night swim at the pool. (^_^) the next day, we had breakfast and went to the tree top adventure ride. after that, we set sail on a yatch for about an hour. lastly, we had our dinner in a semi-formal attire. (^_^) the next day was free time. what did i do? i had a swim on the pool! (^_^) the ride home seemed faster than i had expected.

missionary

we are all called to me missionaries.

we can be missionaries in our own ways.

it's a matter of dedication, sincerity, simplicity and sacrifice.

easier said than done right?

specially during this time when almost all people seems so materialistic.

it's not wrong to have things,

we should just be wary that we must not be too attached with them.

this reminds me of snufkin from the moomins.

as much as possible, he has few possessions because he sees them as a burden that ties you down

he prefers keeping the memory of the object rather than the object itself.

i know this is not something new or uncommon to hear.

the questions is, are we doing anything that makes us a missionary in our daily lives?

or do we simply take it for granted because like what i said earlier,

it's nothing new and uncommon.

family dinner

my 22nd birthday and also oishi shuichiro's birthday!

we went out for a family dinner to celebrate my birthday. (^_^)

it's a simple and thankful evening for me with my family.

leap year

the first hing i remember is it's fuji syuusuke's birthday.

i would really have enjoyed celebrating it,

unfortunately, the circumstances have prohibited me from doing so.

too busy with school stuff and some news that is just really annoying.

that's all. i will be posting something more logical and less annoying or aggressive tomorrow.

my sister and i went out on a "date" today at this place called burgoo. (^_^)

yes, the same place where we had our family dinner last sunday.

anyways, the "table cloth" that they use there is a large sheet of paper where the customers could draw, write and doodle while waiting for the food. (^_^)

Prince of Tennis Shots plus Real World Counterparts

i know SOME, not all, of the tennis moves in the ANIME Prince of Tennis is possible,

but it is only now that i saw it in real life.

AC, AP and SP

it was only in high school when i first met "academic competition/AC"

from our first meeting, i knew we would never get along.

after all these years, we knew each other's existence,

but never really communicated well, we were just civil about it.

we had common friends but we would just clash when we were together.

we sort of lost interaction for a year.

but we saw each other again last june,

and like before, we did not get along.

recently, we have been very bothered by each other's existence.

to the point that i started thinking that AC destroys other people's lives (except of course AC's friends).

though we have know each other for quite some time now,

AC's existence, has been making me sad, depressed and has been pushing me in a corner.

add to that, i recently acquainted with some of AC's relatives,

from the Pressure family.

i have been acquainted with some of them before.

i'm alright with some of them,

but there are those who are like AC that just makes me frustrated.

some of them are SP (social pressure) and AP (academic pressure).

AP and AC are very close,

while SP is sometimes ok, sometimes not.

anyways, recently, they have been a bother to me.

(though SP would just come and go sometimes)

their existence make me feel less of a human.

i'm so (more) impulsive and short-tempered (than usual) recently because of them.

darn them!

echizen?

i was given the nickname "echizen" by my senpai-tachi i few years ago.

though it was only later on when i really "accepted" the nickname.

a few days ago,

i bought this top from a friend of mine.

the first time i saw it,

i already knew that i had to buy it.

and this is the reason.

the red top, denim pants, echizen cap and accessories have been with me for a long time.

the grey-black stripped top was the one i bought. (^_^)

it completed the look. (^_~)

i took advantage of the 1-2 minutes break our professor would unintentional give us because his assistant kept on going inside our room and give him this papers and make him sign some papers.

it actually reminded me of kikumaru eiji when he imitated each member of the seigaku team. (^_^)

birthday!

today is oishi shuichiro's birthday!

and my 21st birthday! (~_~)V

i attended mass early in the morning,

went to my dentist to adjust my retainers,

and practically prepared for my birthday dinner for the rest of the day.

fuji-senpai passed by for an hour before she leaves for america tomorrow.

i am very thankful for 21 years of living.

the problems and challenges, the solutions and success,

it seems that for two consecutive weekends, i have been "playing" around with my hair (with rei of course XD) i guess we got tired of our hair being always down with the lack of any movement whatsoever. and so to make up for that, the results (1,2,3). XD

what i have been doing in the past week? hhmm... i guess i'll leave part of that to rei?

last friday was the opening of the movie Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. i reserved tickets for the 3D viewing for that evening. In terms of the technicals and the visuals, i really enjoyed it. as for the plot, the first thing i said to my mom and my siblings was that the plot was not good as i expected it to be and the pacing was fast. when i searched more details about it, i guess some of the reviews said the same thing.

it actually made me think maybe i am too old for this stuff? i guess the movie was really for kids, but still i expected better from the movie. but no doubt i enjoyed it (^_^)

i just wanted to share to you all my wallpaper for my desktop at work. i would say, this is my inspiration. (○^_^○) do you all know who that character is?

it's Snufkin from the animation Moomin. (^_^)

as you all know, Zukki called himself Snufkin in his blog before. after searching about the character, i also liked the description of the character and now i want to watch the animation and look for the books. unfortunately, i do not know where to watch it and where to find the books. (U_U)

moving on...

recently, i just finished watching the 2000 animation Cybersix. the animation was very good and i really really liked it. unfortunately, there were a few problems with the plot and a few characterization, with that aside, i like it (^_^)

also, i plan to watch the animation series Ninja Senshi Tobikage, also known as Ninja Robots. the last time i watched this animation was 13 years ago. (^_^)

who said i'm too old to watch animation? hehehehe...

i might find other animations i would like to watch in the future (^_^)
