Updates

It has been two months since I returned to writing my personal blog. As I have mentioned in my initial posts since I returned, I am doing this to alleviate myself from stress- emotional, physical and mental. This is a way to gauge my progress and to assess what has been helpful or counter productive for me.

This is also an opportunity for me to look back and reflect what has happened the previous month - things I am thankful for, those I need to follow up on and those I should be changing or avoiding.

Every year, at the first week of June, we start to pray the nine-day novena to St Anthony of Padua. My mom and I decided to continue to pray the rosary every night even after the nine-day novena. This gave me more reason to manage my time and my tasks. It gave me a little more structure in my life, it gave me a little sense of control - my fifteen to twenty minutes of reflection and silence.

I think I am gaining a little interest in photography again, not sure with this as my subject is always the city sky. We’ll see in the future. Currently I am limited to my clampshell phone, but with a little filter, it seems nice. Please don’t get me wrong, I love my phone, but it is more challenging to take photos with it because it does not have the high resolution of the current popular phones. Though I do love the challenge 😏😏😏

It was also this month that I had to unearth a skeleton in my closet. It was revealed because of a current social issue. I will post about it in a few days. Made me cry and crumble inside, but it also made me a little relieved knowing that there are people who understood me in the end.

I have some tasks that I delayed or are still delayed from last month and my dad is already nagging me about it. My bad. I hope I get to finally accomplish them on July.

Last but not least... I got a haircut and my glasses! Finally!

glasses

got my new glasses! if you notice, it seems that every year i have new glasses. my dear friends, this is note deliberate. every year, i misplace my glasses. i don't know why or how. i just hope that this time around, i won't lose it. (^o^)

glasses

i decided to write an entry about my glasses because according to my former professor, i looked more mature in them, which was kind of a good thing considering the seriousness of the matter i had to address to m former professor.

my glasses have always been questioned by people around me.

they said that the thick framed looked so "old school" and that i should have chosen a thinner frame or a half-frame for my glasses.

the reason why i chose this frame is for the purpose of me looking mature.

because without these glasses, i look very young for my age (according to others)

and it's very difficult, for me, to convince other people when it comes to serious matters because they get distracted with the fact that i look very young.

this has happened more than once when i was working as HR assistant,

they even asked my age and what was my year level because they thought i was still a student.

please don't get me wrong, i love the fact that i look young,

it's just that others don't take me seriously because they think i'm still a kid.

i guess thats the curse of looking so young.

new glasses

yes!

i, actually, we, the three of us (me, rei and ryo) got our new glasses today.

frame of my glasses before were destroyed in my bag.

the frame of rei's glasses were accidentally broken by me.

and ryo's glasses, he accidentally sat on them.

glasses + rubber = solution to my falling glasses

a few months back, the screw for my glasses got lost. in replace for that, i put a wire where the screw should be. since then, my glasses has been loose around me head and it easily falls off. i got irritated about it this afternoon that i decided to do something about it.

it's now perfectly fit and snug around me head. (^_^) V

thanks to the rubber bands at my workplace. (^_^)

rei got her glasses yesterday ~_~

it's more sleek and "beautiful" than mine.

my reason was that i needed glasses that were durable not fashionable.

which was true because i always drop my glasses or misplace it somewhere around the house. (○^_^○)

before quiz

we had to take a quiz in philippine constitution class (saturday class) last wednesday because we will be going to the team building seminar of the psychology department on saturday. =_=

we were so lazy and there were already too much information in our heads.

eiji-senpai and i took pictures before the exam.

we even exchanged glasses out of... stress? O_o!?!

in the end...

the test was difficult! x_x

but we are glad that we were able to answer it...
