To my dear daughter,
The past year has been a struggle, and I have been trying to teach you academically, and it has been frustrating. But in the end, it was you who taught me. You showed me your independence and doing things your way. You learn at your own pace, and you know what you want. Your words, actions, and emotions have improved without me noticing them immediately.
Your level of understanding surprises me every day, and it makes me proud of how to compose yourself in every situation. Though I know you get frustrated once in a while, I can see that you try to manage your emotions the best that you can. There are times you need time, or you need constant reminders, and I give it to you. In the long run, you don't disappoint.
I can see your growth.
Happy birthday my darling.
