cfc on fire!

do you remember the event i have been practicing for last week?

well... the event was last saturday.

it was the leadership conference of couples for christ (cfc).

a branch of the cfc is the singles for christ (sfc), the one i am in right now.

last saturday, we performed at the conference. (^_^)

the venue was at the smart araneta coliseum,

a venue for big concerts for local and international stars.

anyways, there was a big mass to start of the event.

after the mass was chanting.

part of the chanting was some of us performing with poi or with a ribbon.

as for me, i had a poi.

here i am practicing for the performance. (^_^)

after the chanting, we rushed backstage to change our costume for the jazz performance.

luckily, we were early on the venue so we already put on our make up even before the whole event started so all we had to do was change to our costume after the chant.

according to the people who watched us,

our performance was beautiful! (~_~)

maybe it was also because of the dress we wore made by my grandmother. (^_^)

we were called the magnificat dancers. (^_^)

there were two talks after the performances.

the highlight of the performance for me was the last part of the event.

it was lights out at the coliseum,

this song was sang live.



we had electric candles and we lit them one by one.

we were scattered.

when all the performers have lit their candles,

we all formed a big cross at the bottom of the stage.

all that was seen from the inside was the lights forming the big cross!

it was amazing!

it gave me goosebumps when i saw it on the screen!

i remember tears flowing down on my cheeks!

it was a great feeling!

amazing!
