movie!

i just arrived from watching The Sorcerer's Apprentice with rei! i definitely enjoyed the movie. i love the part where they incorporate magic and science.

i know that science + magic have been a common concept but seeing it in a movie, for me is different! i am the type of person who is very much "a fan" of magic and the mysteries of the unknown, so watching the movie was a must for me.

other reason's for watching the movie was the title. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is one of the many stories of my childhood that i never forgot. add to that, i used to have a small book of it and i watched it in a movie, Fantasia (1940) wherein Mickey Mouse was the apprentice. (^_^) though the plot was definitely different from the book and from the movie Fantasia, i liked from the present movie the "re-enactment" of how the apprentice abused magic and used it to make the brooms/mops move to finish a job. in the present movie, the job refers to cleaning the room while in Fantasia, the job refers to fetching water. i really loved this scene because it was something very "classic" and "close to the story" from the book and Fantasia. as an over-all, i definitely enjoyed the night. (^_^)

on another note, we made burger patties for or food in the coming weeks. this was the first time for me but i realized that in the long run, this will definitely be a great help for me, considering i have been saving money for some time now. (~_~)

aquarian age live action

i finished reading the manga Aquarian Age: Juvenile Orion today. i was "researching" (wiki) about the Aquarian Age trading card game and the animation and the live action movie based from that card game. i was planning to watch the animation for no certain reason, maybe just to kill time. when i typed in the words "Aquarian Age movie" in Youtube, i was surprised to see the live action movie. i have been searching the net for the movie for almost six months now.

the reason why i wanted to watch the movie was because Rakuto Tochihara (One Missed Call: Final, Rh Plus and Kamen Riber Hibiki) was in it. my other reasons where because i also knew the other main actors, Dori Sakurada (Frogs Musical and Prince of Tennis Musical) and Takuya Uehara (Prince of Tennis Musical, Frogs Musical and Kuroshitsuji Musical). plus, Alice Nine was there. i read a number of negative reviews about the movie but i didn't care much, as long Rakuto Tochihara was there, that was fine with me.

i tightly hugged my pillow out of excitement of seeing the movie posted in Youtube. i could not shout or go crazy cause it was around 10:30pm and i was the only one awake. when i was finished with my "fangirl excitement", i started to watch the movie. it had no subs so i was assuming some events while i was watching the movie. right now, i'd say that the movie is fine, then again, there were no subs so i admit that i did not understand the movie as a whole. i'm still waiting for the subs. i finished the movie around 1:30am because my internet is quite slow tonight but i was patient.
