Updates (September 2020)

I am currently torn with the idea of posting everything that is in my mind right now on this entry versus typing a separate entry for each thought and simply write short updates here. Personally, when I see a document that says “updates” I expect it to be short and concise.

This month has the least number of post for a reason.

First off, the struggle of the previous month which is my daughter’s online class hasn’t changed for the better. I am fortunate though that her teacher is understanding and she gave us some leeway when it came to deadlines with the activities.

Next, I realized how convenient and at the same time inconvenient online grocery shopping is. Convenient because they delivery it to you. Inconvenient because I was so stressed out with the app, poor internet connection, unavailability of products, additional fees,  and misunderstanding between the assigned shopper and me.

Why did we suddenly need to do online grocery shopping if all this time we have been going out to buy it once a week since the pandemic started?

Well, the last update will answer this.

We were quarantined for half the month of September because we had positive cases for COVID-19 in our household.

Details in the next posts.

So yeah, this month has the least number of posts because I can practically summarize it to: for the first half of the month, I was at wit’s end due someone’s immature and impulsive decisions and for the second half of the month, we were quarantined and most of the time I was just worried sick about our health and our daily supplies since we could not go out.

Sh***y month for this year.

End of update.
