Mood in a photo

I have always been struggling with my moodiness since as long as I could remember. The worst instances are when I have my monthly period. Everything seems so shitty and then after a few minutes I am eletated. Anxiety creeps in then the whole world seems to fall down on me. I can be so angsty and destructive, then sensitive and vulnerable, just minutes apart.

It doesn't help that a normal day is already a struggle of sanity for me.

Sigh.

Ps. A photographer once told me that black and white photos give a sense of a messy and gothic feel. He said it accentuates the darkness and grotesqueness of a subject or environment. That is why it is usually used to portray destructions, calamities and injustices. But with the right eye and technique, it can also show survival and resiliency despite their unfortunate circumstances.
