image of a father

It must be hard for a parent to send your daughter (son) to school and teaching them to be independent when the parent him/herself know that their child has a health issues or a disabilities to overcome.

I just saw a father, accompanying her daughter to all the professors just to convince them to allow his daughter to attend the team building activity. The daughter sometimes has seizures that can is practically triggered by anything that makes her uncomfortable. But as a father, he would like his daughter to experience the "normal" college life and not make her disability be a hindrance to her. The father looked teary-eyed, but we knew that he was trying to be strong physically in front of his daughter.

The image of a father is always strong and the foundation of the family. He looks dignified and seems to be a soldier who has this "macho" image for his family. I respect these fathers who show that they are strong for their families. But I would also like to give homage to the fathers who show weakness. For me, they also deserve a great amount of respect because it shows that other than being strong, they are compassionate and loving in a different level. I greatly appreciate them because it's an acceptance that they are humans, that they can me emotional. A father showing his emotions is for me, a sign that he has achieved a deeper level of love, care and joy not only for his family but also for himself.
