theory

i know it's long due and it has passed but i just really had to share it.

this is a theory from my friend/officemate, rizell.

there have been fuss, rumors and jokes about the end of the world on dec 21, 2012 (12/21/12)

as this is the end of the mayan calendar.

being one of the ancient civilizations that believed to be advance in their time,

it is said that they predicted the "end of the world," 12/21/12.

now, this is where the theory of my friend comes in.

the mayans lived in south america.

since they were the ones who "predicted" the end of the world based fro their calendar,

doesn't that mean that it supposed to be december 21 on their calendar?

meaning dec 22 in the eastern part of the world?

it sounds like a joke... well, we later on passed it as a joke. (^_^)

in the end, the mayan calendar simply has a new cycle.

it's like the end of 2012 and the start of 2013.

a new year, a new cycle begins.
