avoid

during the homily yesterday (sunday mass),

the priest said during this lenten season,

there are temptations and spirits that we should be avoiding.

• Pride/vanity
• Gluttony
• Avarice
• Sloth
• Lust
• Envy
• Wrath

and then i thought,

if the spirits looked like these,

they are obviously great temptations and should be avoided.

just a thought...

oh, by the way,

temptations in itself are not bad,

it's when you accept these temptations that they become bad.

"hate the act, not the person."
