i just realized this when the priest mentioned it during the homily of the mass last sunday.
Gospel according to Matthew, chapter two.
there is a story about wise men (kings, astronomers, Magi) from the east who were following a star that would lead them to the child who is the king of the Jews.
there was never a mention of how many wise men there were or what their names are.
it was only assumed that there were three wise men because there were three gifts presented to the child - gold, frankincense and myrrh.
when i heard the priest mentioning this, i read the chapter.
i was so amazed that i wanted to share it to all.
it does not matter if you already know this or not,
or whatever your religion is.
what matters is the intention of sharing it.
(^_^)
*january 6 is the feast of the three kings.
