i had no work today because today was the inauguration of president elect Benigno Simeon Cojuangco Aquino III, the 15th president of the Republic of the Philippines.
today was considered a no working holiday. i was not able to go to the Quirino Grandstand, the venue of the inauguration, but i was able to watch it on tv. his speech was simple and "kinda" (not in detail) direct but words are different from actions. i am hoping that in his six years in term, there would be positive changes and improvements in our country. i did not vote for him but i still hope that under his term, there would be changes. i agree with what he said that the burden of change and a better future is not only his burden but the burden of every Filipino. change starts with each individual.
