Short stories about me and my daughter (also my nieces, cause I am sort of their mom too). I'll try to do this every month just for the lols. 😉😉😉
- Most if not all Filipino kids grew up being forced to eat their food. My daughter is a little different. She is not that picky with her food, but when she doesn't like the food she tells me. On the other hand, when she likes the food, she forces herself to finish it... even when she is already full (sigh) There was this one time her food fell on the floor. I told her she can not eat it anymore as it's soiled. She cried because she said she wanted to finish her food. I had to pretend to scoop the "food on the floor" so she can finish it. (sigh)

- When the clock strikes 4 o'clock in the afternoon, we try our best to not let the kids have a nap anymore. Because if they do, they will wake up late at night and will finally fall asleep past midnight. We try to make the kids sleep before 10pm, TRY is the keyword here. There was this one time when my sister told her husband NOT to let my niece take a nap because it was already 5pm. Unfortunately, the kid fell asleep in his arms while he was playing video games. When he realized this, he panicked, ran to my sister with the kid in his arms, and with a worried voice said, "What do I do?" My other niece, Yui, heard this, ran towards her father, and saw her sleeping sister in her father's arms. Then Yui looked at her mom, my sister, and said "Is Miyuki dead?" My sister wasn't sure if she should worry or she would laugh at her daughter.
- The light bulb in my sister's room got busted so I got her another bulb. She told her husband, Don, to place the light bulb in the light socket. My sister, my daughter, and I were watching as Don climbed the cabinet. As he was inches away from the light socket, my daughter suddenly sang, "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no no no no no." from Tiktok. My sister and I were laughing so much. 😂😂😂
